Provide dishwashing infrastructure or tools so that employees can clean strainers after use, or train janitorial staff to maintain the area and clean strainers throughout the day. Use a designated tray system to separate CLEAN and DIRTY strainers.
Provide a counter-top compost bin for tea leaves and coffee grounds that can be emptied into a larger compost collection daily.

Choose options that can be purchased in bulk without individual wrappers around each tea bag.
If selecting options with individual wrappers, choose options using paper wrappers ideally made out of post-consumer recycled or certified sustainably forested paper.
Choose tea bags that are home compostable and not commercially compostable.
