For self-serve food stations: 

Serve food in reusable containers that can be washed and reused, such as glass bowls, ceramic ramekins, and Tupperware containers. 

For disposable options, source products compatible with waste management infrastructure such as bamboo toothpicks.  

COVID Tip: Have a staff member or office manager monitor service stations to ensure safety and hygiene protocols are adhered to. 

If employees bring food to share: 

Encourage employees to make sustainable packaging choices to align with the office culture. 

Include guidance for best practice shared food packaging in employee handbooks, on message boards, and in newsletters.
